In the old ways of healing women were known as wise women.  In later times, for various dark reasons, they were labeled as witches.  I am relieved that there is more knowledge now focused on healing ourselves.

The energy is about healing whether it is for physical, emotional, mental or spiritual bodies.   My hope is that you find something here that can be of use to you.

In the earth ways you would sit with a plant for 30 days talking to it, listening to it, honoring and respecting the wisdom and energy that it has to share with you.    Then, and only then, would you be allowed to use it in your medicine (healing mixtures).   In some teachings you would ingest small bits of the plant for 30 days with the same intent of listening, communicating, honoring and respecting.  There is no one right way.  The only wrong way is the one of no respect or honor.
